- Legg-Perthes' Disease
- SYMPTOMS, usually in a male child, may include pain in the groin, knee, hip
- and leg and there may be limping.
- CAUSES. There is less blood delivered to the head of the thighbone (femur)
- because of an impairment of the blood flow. This may cause the thighbone to
- deteriorate.
- TREATMENT. Use of a brace and extended bed rest.
